Workshop in collaboration with Anne Pillonnet, physicist at ILM
Without light, there is no color. This sensory experience has always fascinated artists, theorists and scientists, leading them to question the material nature of the illuminated object, the impalpable nature of the light that illuminates it, and our ability to perceive. Light and color challenge both the arts and many scientific disciplines (physics, biology, chemistry, cognitive sciences, anthropology, sociology, etc.); they are therefore an ideal field for experimenting with interdisciplinarity.
Our proposal revolves around the idea of seeing beyond appearances, trying to bring together sensory and intellect to try to build a bridge, a link, between the individual and the universe thanks to light and color.
