Water Protectors project

In late 2016, Anne has been touched and appealed by tragical events occurring in North Dakota as Lakota "Water Protectors" peacefully protested against the construction of a massive pipeline (DAPL) accross the Missouri river near Standing Rock reservation.

In February 2017, she flew to North Dakota to meet protesters on the camps and interview protagonists of the movement, notably Lakota elders.

She is now working on series of drawings featuring monumental portraits associated with audio testimonies.

She is convinced that this battle (since victorious, in line with the latest judicial decisions in the US) crystallizes key environmental concerns that all mankind will be facing in the future.
